Title: Collide
MPAA Rating: PG-13
Director: Eran Creevy
Starring: Nicholas Hoult, Felicity Jones, Anthony Hopkins
Runtime: 1 hr 39 mins

What It Is: After meeting the lovely Juliette (Jones) Casey (Hoult) leaves his job working with drug peddler Geran (Ben Kingsley) in order to be with her he moves on to a normal life. When it comes to light that she’s been living ill since before they met following a seizure everything changes. Now Casey must rejoin Geran’s crew and help with a heist he has planned. When it all goes south now Casey must race across Europe to protect Juliette from undercover gangster Hagen Kahl (Hopkins).

What We Think: This is a horrendous piece of crap. I am really not sure what Creevy told Nicholas Hoult to do. What I am certain of is that what he is doing is stale and flat. Likewise, Oscar-nominated actress, Felicity Jones is in this and she isn’t very good. I think most of the bad performances fall on the script and direction Creevy wrote the film with F. Scott Frazier who also wrote the equally narratively devoid xXx: The Return of Xander Cage so that gives you the pedigree of this film from the writing attribute.

Our Grade: F, Wow! Even if Arsenal ends up being the worst film I see in 2017 I think this film might get really close. This has a great cast and wastes them. That Nicholas Cage film did not have that advantage. I cannot recommend anyone see this film. There isn’t any reason to. Unless you’re a masochist or trying to complete the filmography of any of the actors in this. Run! Very very far away from this one. So far that you cannot even accidently collide with this cinematic feces. You’ll thank me later, and if you didn’t heed this warning well may your deity have mercy on you!
