Title: Nobody 2
MPA Rating: R
Director: Timo Tjahjanto
Starring: Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, Sharon Stone
Runtime: 1 hr 29 mins
What It Is: Following the events of the first Nobody, Hutch (Odenkirk) is back at work—beating people to an absolute pulp. He’s working a lot, which leaves less time for the things he loves, including his family. To fix this, he plans a trip to a small town he remembers fondly from childhood. But this small town isn’t exactly what it appears to be. The local lawmen aren’t very welcoming to outsiders like Hutch—and there’s a very specific reason for that. Hutch is about to find out why.
What We Think: These films are just a really good time. They’re not the kind of movies where you’ll find deep meaning—they’re built as vehicles for Odenkirk, who’s traditionally seen as a comedic actor, to flex his action-hero muscles. That trend will continue into 2026 with another feature he already has lined up. Here, he’s clearly having a blast—and so did I. I enjoyed the straightforward, even if familiar, story beats. Can you pretty much tell how it’s all going to play out from the first act? Probably. But will you still have a great time watching it unfold? Absolutely.
Our Grade: B-, Like I said, this is just a really fun ride. Most of that fun comes from the violence—it’s over the top, and in the best way. Sharon Stone hasn’t looked like she’s had this much fun in years, and it’s great to see. Let’s keep that energy going! Overall, this is a genuinely entertaining watch. Sure, it’s R-rated, but if you’ve got older kids, I think the whole family could enjoy it. Definitely worth your time. Give it a watch. I think you’re in for quite a treat!
